Harris is looking for bright individuals who are currently in college to join our team to gain some real hands-on engineering experience in our Sacramento or Concord office.

Harris is looking for bright individuals who are currently in college to join our team to gain some real hands-on engineering experience in our Sacramento or Concord office.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- You may be assigned, under supervision of a Professional Engineer, to perform simple engineering data analysis, data entry and formatting, and organizing data and information for reports and technical work products.
- You may also perform basic CAD or GIS input or modifications and provide basic project support such as formatting and distributing meeting notes, performing project filing, conducting field site visits, and other providing general support of project engineers and teammates.
- The work may also include engineering design tasks such as providing input to design drawings and specifications, and construction related engineering tasks such as reviewing contractor submittals and answering construction related inquiries from the contractor.
- Currently in college pursing a 4-year Civil Engineering degree, preferred graduation date of Fall 2025 or sooner
- EIT certification preferred
- Driven individual with good organizational skills
- Must be a team-player with a positive attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and AutoCAD required, GIS, Microsoft Project and/or Civil 3D preferred)
- Ability to provide approximately 20 hours per week, may range between 15-24 hours per week pending workload
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
