We are actively searching for an experienced Designated Biologist (DB) to join our growing team in Fresno, CA. We are looking of both Part-time and Full-time candidates.
The DB will provide technical leadership, field management, and biological compliance oversight He/she will manage project execution, logistics, and supporting efforts from the project location and oversee biological field efforts. The DB is responsible for mitigation monitoring requirements in compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) and United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB), and California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) permits. The DB must provide initial notification to CDFW by calling the Regional Office if a Covered Species is taken or injured during construction. Following initial notification, a written report must be sent to the CDFW Regional Representative within two calendar days.
